My love and concern for the animals started from a very young age, connecting all the stages of my life with joyful moments and beautiful memories.
Maine Coon cats entered my life many years ago, since the first moment I’ve met them I knew that this would be a life changing experience for me.
A few words about these wonderful creatures.
Aristocratic and astonishing creatures that never fail to amaze you with their imposing presence and their high intelligence.
Despite of their large size and the piercing eye gaze, Maine Coons are totally harmless and extremely sweet with balanced character (That’s why their companion to kids with special needs has beed therapeutic for so long and all around the world) and that is what makes Maine Coon cats and excellent pet for kids and adults.
The bond they develop with their owner is undoubtedly special and unique, it could also be characterised as a fervid love, they follow you faithfully at every step and become an integral part of your daily life. They love car rides, water, playing around and they get extremely excited with guests at home. They perfectly coexist with other pets and have the ability of adopting the character and the lifestyle of their owner, also they listen to their names and can be trained quite easily.
Where our cats are coming from?
Our breeding cats have been selected one by one, after a very careful study over the years and are coming from the oldest and most famous Catteries in Europe and America, from official breeders, meeting to the highest degree the morphological standards of the Breed. We take part with our cats in regular basis in international and world cat shows, constantly winning significant awards and distinctions.
Our cats live in: Greece, Germany, France, Italy, England, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Hungary, Belgium, Austria, the Netherlands, New York and Miami.
Where and how we live?
Our cattery is located in the Northern part of Athens and basically is our home.
Our cats live freely in the house and are an integral part of our daily life. When they want to enjoy the sun and the fresh air they have direct access to the specially designed spaces in our green garden that we have created exclusively for them.
For us breeding is and will remain a hobby, which stems from our immense love for cats in general and for this breed in particular. That’s the reason why the number of breeding cats in our Cattery remains small and with this approach we are always able to provide the necessary care and attention to each and one of them.
Our purpose is that they coexist harmoniously with us and with each other, thus ensuring their mental and physical health, which is perhaps the most important part for the smooth operation of a cattery.
Are our cats healthy?
Our main goal is to breed strong and healthy Maine Coon Cats that meet the breed standards to the highest point and have a well balanced and sweet temperament.

KITTENS
How often do we have kittens available & how do they grow?
In general (1-2 times / year) we have some planned and very carefully studied litters. Babies are raised under our daily supervision and monitored by our veterinarians at regular basis and whenever is necessary. Proper nutrition for such a large breed is very important for the proper musculoskeletal development of babies, which is why we always provide them with high quality dry and fresh food and from the age of 7 weeks they are fed with raw meat diet specially processed so that it is absolutely safe for them. It is very important for us all Adrastia kittens born in our cattery to grow up with unconditional love and care so that they have a balanced, sweet and completely social character without the slightest phobia. The process of socialization begins at the age of 5-6 weeks and ends at 14-16 weeks of their life where they are ready to move to their new family.
Moving to their new home
We give our kittens only as neutered family pets, making sure that they will always stay inside the house in a safe family environment for them. In case there are outdoor areas, the necessary fencing must be ensured so that it is completely safe for them. The survival instinct of this breed is negligible and the fact that they are completely familiar with humans and other animals such as dogs, makes their safety absolutely necessary. Kittens for breeding are given under certain conditions ONLY abroad with absolutely no exception and ONLY to official and experienced breeders.

Photocopies of genetic and ultrasound examinations of parents
PEDIGREE
Internal and external deworming treatment
Complete vaccination
Transportation box, blanket, toys.
Hearing certificate (Baer Test) for white kittens
ALL our kittens are given with a strict adoption contract.
* We don’t provide shipment. Our kittens NEVER travel alone. In case the new owner is unable to pick up the kitten in person, they are always delivered by us to their new home. *

What you need to know before contacting us.
Choosing the proper family for our kittens is a very important matter for us, so in case you are interested in adopting an Adrastia kitten and want to contact us, we would like you to know that it is not enough just to tell us your name.
Spend some time and share with us some basic information about you and your family, about other pets you may have as well as the reasons that made you want to adopt a kitten from us.
One-word messages that only deal with the cost of adopting a kitten are never taken seriously by us.
Our cats are our life and their babies that grow up in our hands “our children”, so we always have the first saying in choosing the right family for them. Personal or even phone contact is always necessary for our final decision.
We want to be as confident as possible that our babies will live happily and receive the unconditional love, attention and care they deserve. We are always close to the new owners 24 hours a day for anything they might need.
After all, each one of them will always have a special place in our heart, they will always be “our children” and we are always happy to hear their news and receive phots and videos.
